If you are intrested in taking part in the comic relief sports mile in barrow park on 21st March please register online, and we will be there to support you.

Sport Relief is back, and this time it's from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st March. The whole of the UK will come together to get active, raise cash and change lives.

It has a unique history of dedicated people doing extraordinary things to make a difference - from David Walliams’ swim across the English Channel, to Eddie Izzard’s amazing marathon a day around the UK.

And that's not to mention the thousands of incredible people who rise to the challenge by doing the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile. Or our amazing fundraisers who do something fun and active to raise cash and help make the world of difference.

All the money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief
to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people,
both at home and across the world’s poorest countries.

So be a part of it… Rise to the challenge for Sport Relief!

Barrow’s 1st Sport Relief Mile is taking place in Barrow Park on Sunday 21st March 2010. The day kicks off with the 1 mile event at 11am, so get your sponsors in and bring along your family and friends to complete the course. If you’re up for a bigger challenge why not try the 3 or 6 mile event, which both start at 12.30pm.

To get involved and support Sport Relief 2010, log onto and register on the Sport Relief website, http://www.sportrelief.com/the-mile/barrow-park-mile, and start getting your sponsors in!
